Gary Dreisbach

Gary is a veteran to the auto collision industry of over 40 years. He had been employed as a collision technician for over 20 years and worked as a shop manager. He has been affiliated with Chief Automotive since 1998 as a Training Facilitator. He has a passion for helping others on proper structural repair techniques and collision repair in general.  Gary believes that you can only fix what you know. There is only one way to repair vehicles and that is the right way the first time.
Gary is a certified Master Chief Instructor, I-Car Steel and Aluminum Instructor, AWS Certified Welder and an experienced Shop Management Consultant.

Ken Soupene

Ken brings vast experience and skill to the Education of the Student with over 40 years in the Collision Repair Industry. He is well known in the Industry for his Integrity and Professional Knowledge. Having witnessed Vehicle Manufactures constant change between Full Frame and Unibody and Advanced Frame material; He understands the need for current Information and Training for the Collision Repair Professional. Which, he delivers to the Student in a concise easy to understand manor.

Ken endeavors to give each student as much as he can of his knowledge honed from working as a Frame Technician and Front end alignment specialist in his Dads Frame and Alignment Shop and worked for several years as Frame, Body & Paint Technician before starting his career with Chief in mid 1980’s. Since, joining Chief he’s traveled the world and Trained Students in close to 20 Countries. Ken has spent over 20 years involved with “Skills USA” organization in the National Contests as a Structural Analysis Segment Leader and Committee member. He is a member of his local “I-CAR” Committee.

Sal Polizzi

Sal resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his family. He attended Thaddeus Stevens Technical College for collision repair and refinishing. During the time he worked at a Lincoln Mercury dealership in Lancaster where he did everything from sweeping up the shop, servicing the paint booths, shuttling customers home in the courtesy van and helping the paint and body technicians. Sal worked at several different shops over the years where he gained valuable experience. Sal attending his first Chief class in 2000. He was an instructor at a four-year comprehensive high school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for ten years. Before coming to Chief, he was a production manager at a dealership in Harrisburg, Pa.


Sal has been with Chief since January and enjoy working with and teaching collision professionals throughout the country.

Ruben Castorena

Ruben joined Chief in October 2010 as a Research and Specification Technician in our Irvine, CA Measuring and Specification Center. Ruben was a valued member of our measuring and specification team and was promoted to Research and Specification Center supervisor in 2013. In July 2014, Ruben was promoted to Collision Training Facilitator were he joined the new team of Chief trainers who are extremely talented and knowledgeable automotive enthusiast. Prior to joining VSG, Ruben worked for Bristol Insurance for 12 years. Ruben worked in a variety of departments within the insurance company and was an automotive damage appraiser for 6 years. Ruben entered the Body Shop Managers program at Cerritos Community College in 2001. Ruben is I-CAR Platinum certified. Ruben also served in the U.S. Army Reserved as a Civil Affairs Specialist and Intelligence Analyst for 8 years.

Jeff Mathews

Jeff is based in Madison, IN and has been a Product Consultant, Customer Service Supervisor and trainer for Rotary Lift products for approximately 12 years. Jeff joined Chief Automotive Technologies and has been a valued Technical Consultant team member (Tech Support) since 2011. Jeff has also been a Technical Trainer for Chief Automotive, training distributors in how to properly repair and trouble shoot equipment. Jeff has a back ground where he grew up around the collision repair community.
