If it is necessary for Chief to cancel a program, you will be notified at least one week prior to the class start date. Please purchase airline tickets accordingly and check with your travel agent. Chief will not be responsible for non-refundable travel fees.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is to be worn at all times while in the shop environment and must meet OSHA and/or ANSI industry standards.
The required PPE are:

- Face protection where required
- Hearing protection (foam earplugs provided by Chief)
- Hand protection
- Foot protection
- Proper clothing for the environment and tasks being performed (no holes or tears in clothing)
Appropriate clothing for the shop environment will be enforced. Some class locations require that all shirts are tucked in to meet the professional standards and expectations of that learning environment. No shorts, flip flops, or cut-off shirts will be allowed.
Students not wearing the proper clothing and PPE will be asked to meet this safety requirement. If they are not able to or choose not to meet these safety requirements, they will be asked to leave and reschedule to a time when they are able to meet these safety standards.
